We ensure a market for the farmers on fair trading terms and supply the wholesalers organic and sustainable quality products.
Our primary focus is to source high-quality products from Africa to Danish and European customers. We are based in Denmark and have local presence in Kenya, Ghana and Uganda to ensure food safety and quality.
Aliva Foods is based on more than 10 years of experience working with farmers and manufacturers in the Eastern part of Africa. We see a huge potential in Africa producing and sourcing quality food that can live up to the growing demands on sustainability and organics and at the same time creating the social impact which is needed many places in Africa.
We are certified organic provider and our work takes place in a sustainable manner and in line with the Millennium Development Goals issued by the UN.
Aliva works directly with partners as trainers of farmers in sustainable production. Aliva ensures a market for the farmers on fair trading terms and ensures that they are not exploited by middlemen who give them a bad price.

Our existence
Aliva Foods exists to strengthen trade between Europe and Africa and because we see a huge potential in Africa which can both produce high quality products but at the same time create a huge impact for the producers. Trade can be one of the strongest tools to lift farmers out of poverty and create development.
Social impact
Aliva Foods works directly with partners who train farmers in sustainable production. In this way, we ensure a market for the farmers on fair trading terms and ensure that they are not exploited by middlemen who give them a bad price for their crops.
Food safety
We are certified organic provider in Denmark and the EU, and our work takes place in a sustainable manner and in line with the Millennium Development Goals issued by the UN. We primarily work with climate-friendly crops that make the farmers more robust in relation to overcoming future climate challenges.
